Chloe Kelly at the corner flag: one celebration, one tee

Some players get one career-defining moment if they're lucky. Chloe Kelly has had two, and she's celebrated both like someone who knew exactly what she'd just done.

Wembley, 2022

Extra time of the Euro 2022 final against Germany, 87,000 inside Wembley, and the ball drops to Kelly in a crowded six-yard box. She pokes it in at the second attempt, pulls her shirt off, swings it round her head and runs. The image went everywhere. It was England's first major trophy since 1966 and the most-watched women's football match the country had ever seen.

And again, 2025

Three years later she did it again. Having come off the bench to change the game, she stepped up for the decisive penalty in the Euro 2025 final shoot-out against Spain and buried it. Two finals, two trophies, one player who seems to enjoy the big occasion more than anyone else on the pitch.

The celebration

The corner flag celebration is Kelly's trademark. Arms wide, chin up, the whole stadium invited in. It's the look of a player who isn't remotely surprised by what she's just done, and it's the pose we stitched.

The design

The Legends in Thread Chloe Kelly Corner Flag design is an embroidered outline of that moment, small on the chest, with nothing official around it. No crest, no FA badge, no sponsor. It works for Lionesses fans and for Arsenal fans, which is why you'll find it in both red and white.

It was one of the first women's football designs on the site, and it's still one of the best sellers, which tells you something about how much that night at Wembley meant to people.
